The International Relations Office is responsible for BTU Cottbus' international relationships, advising BTU students on study abroad opportunities, the admission and advising of international students, and the advising of university educators on the internationalization of teaching and studying. We are here to service students, university educators, scientists, and university administration.  

The Bureau of International Studies (BIS) is the central institution for all international study programmes at BTU Cottbus. The degree programme coordinators are the contact people for all prospective students and their questions about the content of studies. They ensure the smooth running of study programmes and assist students in their progress.

Bridge to Studies​​​​​​​ offers foreign study applicants, who don’t yet have adequate German language abilities and would like to take up a full-time German-language degree course at BTU, a one-year preparatory programme – a “Bridge to Studies”.

The LEONARDO-Office Brandenburg supports students and graduates from universities in the state of Brandenburg who wish to undertake an internship within Europe, as part of the EU’s Erasmus+ programme.

The  language centre is a central institution for instruction and scholastics at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg.
