Lausitz Science Park links science and business

Following on from the railroad plant and the Carl Thiem Medical University of Lusatia, the Lausitz Science Park is now also set to go ahead: On Monday, July 15, 2024, a framework agreement was signed in Cottbus/Chóśebuz for the development of the technology and innovation park on an area of approx. 420 hectares.

Life journeys: Focus on the GDR and German unity

Public end-of-semester concert: from jazz, rock and pop to classical music

Music students from the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) will be offering a stylistically diverse end-of-semester program on Wednesday, 17 July 2024 at 7 pm. All interested parties are cordially invited to attend free of charge in the large hall of the Cottbus Conservatory, Puschkinpromenade 13/14.

BTU expertise for a cold case analysis of a 40-year-old criminal case

As part of the International Cold Case Analysis Project (ICCAP), this unsolved case is now being "reopened" using modern investigative methods. A film team is conducting research for the arteRE series and interviewing experts from the Lower Saxony Police Academy, Mittweida University of Applied Sciences and BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg.

New at BTU: Natural and Applied Sciences and Business Informatics

For the winter semester 2024/25, the two Bachelor's degree courses in Applied Natural Sciences and Business Informatics will enrich the study options at Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU). Interested parties have until 15 September to apply for these and 28 other courses without admission restrictions.
