Project "Operation of a University Transfer Office"

The Technology and Innovation Department of BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg facilitates access to the research and development capacities of the university, especially for regional companies and craft enterprises from the state of Brandenburg, and promotes the initiation of research and development projects. This is done in each case with the project "Operation of a University Transfer Office" (HSTS) at the Cottbus and Senftenberg sites.
The main aim of the project is to activate and intensify technology transfer in the state of Brandenburg. It actively contributes to better networking between science and industry, as well as to awakening the technology needs of companies from Brandenburg, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The Technology and Innovation Department of the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg is the first point of contact for the Brandenburg Innovation Voucher (BIG) funding program of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (MWE) of the State of Brandenburg. The use of this funding program by small and medium-sized enterprises and business establishments from Brandenburg is an ideal starting point and easy entry for further cooperation and future ambitious projects. The department is also the point of contact for those interested in the ProFIT Brandenburg funding program. This program supports the development of new products, processes and technologies as well as the establishment of production, market preparation and market launch with the aim of strengthening and accelerating the economic exploitation of research and development results in Brandenburg.
To implement technology transfer, the department works closely with the cluster management ofWirtschaftsförderung Land Brandenburg GmbH (WFBB). Cooperation is also maintained with regional business development institutions, chambers and business associations.

The project "Operation of a University Transfer Office" is funded by the European Union and the State of Brandenburg.
