Grand finale of the STAR*PARADE: Who will be LAUSITZ*STAR 2025?

The time has come: On 5 November from 5 pm, we cordially invite you to the grand finale of STAR*PARADE 2025 in Cottbus in the central lecture hall buildingof BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg!

From 100 applications and after nine pitch events, we will select the best ideas from Lusatia in Brandenburg and Saxony on this evening. Join us to find out which entrepreneur, idea holder and founder has prevailed in the following categories and will become LAUSITZ*STAR 2025:

• Pupils
• Crafts
• Services & trade
• Health & social affairs
• Culture & creative industries
• Technology & Digital
• Social entrepreneurship
• Mixed*Pitch

At the end, the audience will decide which idea receives the coveted Audience Award.

In addition to cash and non-cash prizes, all LAUSITZ*STARS can look forward to valuable contacts, personalised advice and the chance to win regional and international partners.

After the award ceremony, we will continue to celebrate together: at the big STAR*PARADE party in the central lecture theatre building, participants, guests and supporters will come together to celebrate the start-up scene in Lusatia - with good music, a flying buffet, inspiring talks and plenty of opportunities to network.

About the STAR*PARADE

The STAR*PARADE is a further development of the Lusatian start-up competition (LEX) and has been organised since 2024 as a joint project by a large number of players in the Startup Lausitz start-up ecosystem - including Cottbus Economic Development Agency, Startup Lausitz start-up consultancy, European Digital Innovation Hub, Wirtschaftsinitiative Lausitz, Cottbus Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Dresden Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Cottbus Chamber of Crafts, Dresden Chamber of Crafts as well as the BTU projects Lausitz Science Park, Energy Innovation Centre and Founders' Service. The stakeholders are involved in juries, as sponsors and in the organisation team. The common goal of all is to build a lively network of founders, supporters and funders in Lusatia.
