FREE-MOVER EXCHANGE PROGRAMME
The University‘s exchange programme is uncomplicated and offers a great deal of freedom of choice: Participants can study just the courses they want to do.
This courses are offered in English:
- Classical guitar
- Repertoire studies
- Historical performance practice
- Guitar ensemble
- Teaching methodology
Moreover, it is also possible to attend almost all other classes in the bachelor’s programme and the artistic training course, though these are only offered in German.
A B1 or comparable level of language certificate in German or English is required. As a rule, this can be issued by the applicant’s home university.

STUDY PREPARATION COURSE FOR FOREIGN APPLICANTS
This offers prospective foreign students the possibility to take classes in classical guitar as a major subject for two semesters while attending language courses in order to acquire the language certificate required for a regular course of studies.
Students who are approved for the study preparation course have to first pass the complete entrance examination and are then granted student status, which may be relevant when applying for a visa.
