The BTU is active in all three development fields of the project.

1. In development field I, the BTU coordinates networking between the Berlin-Brandenburg continuing education database and other project-internal and external continuing education platforms. It documents requirements of the common interfaces and provides support for scientific research as well as for the exchange of information among each other.
2. In development field II, the BTU is working to expand the existing platform by striving for more extensive personalization (through learning recommendations, individual learning paths, and personal dashboards) and intuitive usability to enable those interested in education to pursue their individual educational paths more actively than before.
3. In Development Field III, the BTU is working with partners to implement and expand modular, digitally-enriched continuing education offerings. These learning process pilots open up new target groups and perspectives for continuing education.
