Therapy 4.0 Robots for new impulses in teaching

Runtime

2015

Summary of the project results

The rehabilitation robot HIROB is permanently used at the Senftenberg site for teaching in the course of studies of therapeutic sciences. This horse-like robot makes it possible to effectively treat patients with neurological deficits without the usual time expenditure of hippotherapy. The three-dimensional movement of the robot requires the patient*s pelvis to be straightened, significantly improving trunk control and stability. The rehabilitation robot is an important building block to ensure a special practical relevance in teaching with the latest future-oriented technology. From now on, students will not only learn how the latest technology works, but they will also be able to try it out and test its effectiveness using the evaluation methods learned during their studies.
