1st Research Day at the Faculty of Human Sciences Gain insights, engage in dialogue, and celebrate science together.

Research Day offers fascinating insights into the diverse research landscape of our faculty. Project presentations and poster sessions showcase selected aspects of current research projects and invite you to explore, ask questions and engage in discussion.

We therefore warmly invite all staff members from our four institutes to find out about current research, discover new perspectives and engage in conversation with one another. You are very welcome to take part in the entire programme or to attend individual events according to your interests.

Please feel free to contribute your expertise, research ideas and perspectives! Together, we aim to develop new approaches and solutions for social, educational and health-related professions and to provide impetus for new research partnerships.

Look forward to inspiring keynote talks from our four institutes and the ‘Marketplace of Ideas’ – and, above all, to a day full of encounters, exchanges and shared ideas.

Marketplace of Ideas

Thinking ahead together on research

Got an idea in mind? An intriguing question from real-world practice? Interested in a new collaboration? Then bring your idea along to the ‘Marketplace of Ideas’!

This is where people with different experiences, perspectives and areas of expertise come together to exchange ideas. They share experiences, discover common ground and develop initial ideas for joint research projects – in a straightforward, open manner, and with a view to drafting an initial project outline inthenear future.

Practical insights, exciting research questions, new methods and formats, ideas for project proposals or relevant current calls for proposals. Perhaps you already have a specific project idea? Perhaps you’re still looking for the right collaborators. Both are welcome at the Marketplace!

Showcase your expertise!

We therefore warmly invite you to create a personal profile and introduce yourself. What are your key research areas? What expertise do you bring to the table? What topics are you working on, and where would you like to engage in exchange or collaboration?

A template for the profile will be provided. At the event, the profiles will be displayed and presented in a short pitch. This will allow participants to quickly discover who has which topics and skills to offer, and then easily strike up a conversation with one another.

Make the most of the marketplace to network, develop ideas further and perhaps even lay the foundations for a joint research project.
