Until November 1, 2024, German early career researchers can apply for a doctoral scholarship through Fulbright Germany. We support four- to six-month research projects at a U.S. university or research institution, with start dates between August 1, 2025, and December 31, 2025.

The scholarship covers a monthly living allowance of 2,400 euros, transatlantic travel, and health/accident insurance. The Fulbright J-1 visa is free, and there is an additional allowance of 300 euros for other incidental costs.
