Sustainable development and areas of application in management (11370)
Content:
Are profit maximization and ecological aspirations in conflicting objectives? And if so, how can this be solved? An answer to these and other questions is given in the module. In addition, students will receive an introduction to the guiding principle of sustainable development and the three sustainability dimensions from an economic point of view. Based on this, questions about the importance of innovations, technical progress and eco-efficiency will be discussed. Practical knowledge and design possibilities in companies are imparted to the students.
