Bio × AI Hackathon Berlin 2026
The start of 2026 begins with a strong impetus for innovation, entrepreneurship and networking: on 27 and 28 February 2026, the Bio × AI Hackathon Berlin will take place in Berlin - organised in cooperation with Nucleate Germany, Project Europe and UNITE.
The hackathon brings together talents from the life sciences, Computer Science, engineering and the start-up scene. In an intensive 24-hour format, interdisciplinary teams work on real challenges from research and industry.
Main topics of the hackathon
The participants develop innovative solutions in three highly topical areas:
Protein Design
Genome Modelling & Synthesis
Agentic AI in Life Sciences
The aim is to combine scientific excellence with entrepreneurial thinking and to develop ideas with commercial and social potential.
