EIZ Workshop Series on Science Communication
The Energy Innovation Center (EIZ) is launching a new online workshop series on science communication titled “Bits & Bites – Your Monthly Science Communication Snack”. The series is designed for PhD and postdoctoral researchers, as well as other researchers seeking to strengthen their science communication skills in a time-efficient format.
The programme consists of seven short online sessions (45 minutes each). Each session combines targeted input with practical exercises and time for questions and discussion. The workshops will be held online and in English.

- Feb 17 – How to LinkedIn for Researchers
- Mar 31 – How to Tell the Story of Your Research
- Apr 28 – Science Communication in Practice
- May 19 – How to (Elevator) Pitch Your Research
- Jun 16 – Open Science Communication Lab
- Jul 17 – Careers in Science Communication
Participants who attend at least five sessions will receive a certificate of completion.
The workshop series was developed in cooperation with Guidance, Skills & Opportunities for Researchers e.V. (GSO) and will be led by Dr. Birte Seffert.
