Finiding your project

Getting involved as a volunteer is a great way to gain experience, meet new people, and become part of the local community.

The International Relations Office works closely with the Cottbus Volunteer Agency, which maintains an extensive database of volunteer opportunities. We recommend that you browse the database to find a project that suits your interests. 

If you need additional support getting started, you are welcome to contact Student Activities at studentactivities(at)b-tu.de or the Cottbus Volunteer Agency directly at info(at)freiwilligenagentur-cottbus.de. 

We also partner with the Stadtsportbund Cottbus, which regularly offers exciting opportunities for international students to volunteer as trainers, assistants, or at larger sporting events such as the Baltic Sea Sports Games (Ostsee Sportspiele). These experiences provide an excellent way to connect with the local community and gain new skills.
