Students from six European partner universities are working together in a new Erasmus+ BIP project to develop a prosthetic arm. The highly motivated participants met at the Campus Senftenberg of the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) for a joint kickoff during a kickoff week.

For the 29th time, the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) is awarding the DAAD prize of 1,000 euros to international students for outstanding academic achievements and special commitment. The prize is traditionally awarded at the beginning of the winter semester.

Within the framework of EUNICE, the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg offers an international database for theses. Students can choose from over 160 offers and write their thesis abroad.

With lively music, Indian dance, an award ceremony, a new cooperation and many beaming new students, the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg starts the new academic year. The motto is: "We want to know".

The EUNICE universities, which include Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg, have met for a genaral assembly in Catania to prepare for the start of the new project phase. More than 100 people from ten European partner countries have responded to the call of the Italian university.

At the beginning of September 2023, the first Summer School of the Graduate College "Trustworthy Hydrogen" initiated jointly by the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) and the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) was held at BAM in Berlin.
