Prospective students from Ukraine visit the Senftenberg Campus

Ukrainian participants of the German intensive course at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) visited the Senftenberg site on October 26, 2022. In addition to a campus tour and insights into mechanical engineering studies at the university, the 21 young people familiarized themselves extensively with the nursing science course.

The transdisciplinary module BTU4Future provides an overview of current research at the BTU on climate change and climate protection. It deals theoretically and practically with the question of what a University4future can look like. The module consists of a lecture (Mondays 17:30-19:00) and a project workshop (Wednesdays 11:30-13:00).

European University Alliance invites to the "EUNICE Weeks 2022"

Tournaments, cultural performances, stared lecturers and mobility forums will take place between the 20th October and the 24th November 2022 in the seven partner universities of the alliance. The Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) is involved.

The BTU has a "Fit@Campus" exercise trail.

With a colorful program of dance, sports, greetings and presentations, the "Fit@ Campus" exercise trail at the Cottbus central campus was ceremoniously opened on Wednesday, October 12, 2021. From now on, the outdoor sports equipment along Konrad-Wchsmann-Allee is freely accessible to all sports enthusiasts - to stay fit alongside studies and job.

102 million euro for the future energy model region of Lusatia

Minister of Science Dr. Manja Schüle hands over the grant to the BTU's new Energy Innovation Center (EIZ). More than 90 scientists from 14 disciplines are researching the effective and efficient energy supply of the future together with more than 40 partner institutions.
