As of now, the Guest Student Program at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg offers refugee students from Ukraine uncomplicated opportunities to participate in courses and sports classes, take advantage of language learning opportunities and study in the university library.
At the Welcome and Registration Point, international first-year students receive relevant information on enrollment and starting their studies, as well as a comprehensive range of advice on everything you need when starting out in a new country. Opportunities for student networking are also promoted.
EUNICE now offers an international internship database with over 200 companies and institutions for interested students from the seven partner universities, which also include BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg.
An experiment from BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg will take off in a sounding rocket in Sweden on February 28, 2022. The team of the scientists around Prof. Christoph Egbers is to study the heat and mass transfer in a liquid under space conditions. The findings can be used, for example, to optimize heat exchangers in cooling systems or satellites.
In 2022, BTU will once again be present at the annual Education Fair of the German Schools in Madrid and Barcelona – in 2022 for the first time in a hybrid format (virtual and in presence)!
