Today, September 9, 2024, is the day. The five-member team of scientists from the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) will begin preparations for its 12th parabolic flight campaign in France.

As part of the “support initiative for German schools abroad and partner schools (BIDS)”, high school students from abroad were able to learn about the wide range of courses offered by BTU.

A unique learning experience, especially for children and young people in Cottbus: Minister President Dr. Dietmar Woidke and the Ambassador of the United States of America, Dr. Amy Gutmann, opened the Newton Flight Academy Brandenburg in the "Stadtforum K" in Cottbus on Monday, July 1, together with the Mayor of Cottbus, Tobias Schick.

Fifteen students and two teachers from the National Science and Mathematics High School "Akad. Ljubomir Tchakalov" in the Bulgarian capital Sofia can look back on an eventful week full of new insights at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU).

BTU students participated in an intercultural workshop to prepare for their semesters abroad. Over 50 students are traveling with ERASMUS+ and STUDEXA to countries including Norway, Spain, and Japan. Participants received valuable insights and tips from former outgoings who shared their experiences.

As part of his information and meeting trip, Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and the diplomatic corps visited the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) on June 13. The delegation learned about major structural change projects in Lusatia.
