As part of the Cottbus City Festival, the Cottbus Open intercultural festival will take place in Puschkinpark on Sunday, 23 June at 12 noon. BTU President Prof Gesine Grande and the Mayor of Cottbus, Marietta Tzschoppe, will jointly open the festival.

On Sunday, June 2, 2024, committed people from various Cottbus districts will come together to demonstrate for a democratic Brandenburg based on solidarity. BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg is supporting the campaign. BTU President Prof. Gesine Grande will give a speech at 2 p.m. in front of the main campus of the university.

As part of the "Cottbuser Willkommensfest", the "Young Kicker Tournament" and "Firmen Cup" foosball tournaments will take place on Tuesday, 28.05.2024 from 4 p.m. on the Altmarkt in Cottbus on the occasion of Diversity Day. We are looking for trainees, students and employees who would like to represent BTU in the foosball tournaments.
