Lusatia 2038 begins in the classroom

Business meets school: when the Lausitz Science Park becomes a topic in the classroom.

In mid-November, the Lausitz Science Park and the Energy Innovation Centre Cottbus (EIZ) had the opportunity to explain structural change in Lusatia to two Year 8 classes at the Lower Sorbian Grammar School.

We talked about future opportunities, new fields of research and the region's role as an innovator in the field of energy and sustainable technologies. The great interest shown by the pupils was particularly impressive. There were lots of fascinating questions, inquisitive discussions and genuine enthusiasm for the developments on their own doorstep.

Formats like this show how important it is to get young people involved at an early stage and give them prospects in a changing region.

A big thank you to Niedersorbisches Gymnasium for the invitation and to everyone involved for the inspiring dialogue!
