At the centre of our mission is the belief that it's not about identifying the "best ideas" from the start. Instead, we focus on bringing talented and motivated people together to explore and develop concepts.

Networking with like-minded people

Most successful start-ups don't start with a flawless idea, but are born from the synergy of the right people coming together in an innovative environment. The Innovators Club acts as a pre-incubator specifically for BTU students and welcomes both German and international participants. Whether you are just starting out or already have years of experience, whether you are bursting with ideas or have valuable skills, you will find your place here.

We firmly believe that every student has unique strengths. Some of you may excel at programming or engineering, while others have a knack for design, storytelling or in-depth research. Many may excel in their ability to organise, strategise or communicate effectively. When these diverse talents and perspectives come together, we can turn visionary ideas into concrete projects.

Even if you feel you are missing a particular idea, you are still an integral part of this community. The most groundbreaking ideas often come from unexpected collaborations between people with different expertise and backgrounds. In the Innovators Club, you are encouraged to voice any inspiration on a problem or challenge. You have the opportunity to network with like-minded people who are happy to join you on a journey of discovery.

From team matching to hackathons and maker nights

Our events are designed to be engaging and interactive, providing a platform for learning and collaboration. We organise a variety of activities including brainstorming sessions, team matchmaking events, hackathons, hands-on workshops and maker nights. This is not a place where you just listen, you will be an active participant and fully engage in the process. Over time, small groups will form and innovative projects will take shape. Students who previously felt unprepared will gradually develop concrete start-up concepts.
