Innovators Club Where students stop waiting and start building.

You have an idea. Maybe a vague one. Maybe a real one. Maybe just the feeling that you want to do something more than exams and assignments.
But between lectures, job applications, deadlines, and trying to keep up with everything else, you don't know where to start. The bigger your idea feels, the harder it gets to take the first step.
So it stays in your head. Pushed to "someday".
That's exactly why the Innovators Club exists.
A space to start small. A community to grow with. A way to make it real.
What you actually get when you join
People who want to build, just like you
A growing community of students from across BTU. Engineers, designers, researchers, business minds. People who don't wait for permission.
Founders who've been where you are
Successful entrepreneurs from the Lausitz share what worked, what didn't, and how they got started. Real stories, not theory.
A space to test, fail, and grow
A safe place to try things. Co-working sessions where ideas become teams. Workshops on the skills that actually matter, from time management to rapid prototyping.
The first step, made easy
You don't need a pitch. You don't need a plan. You just need to show up.
How to join
It really is simple: Come to a Co-Working session.
Every Wednesday from 5pm to 7pm at the Mensa Co-Working Space, BTU Cottbus. Bring your idea, bring your skills, or bring just your curiosity. Whatever you have is enough.
You'll meet the community, find people who match your energy, and walk away with at least one next step.
It's already happening
Since our Kick-Off in April, 10 ideas have taken shape. From solar farm mapping with a BTU PhD researcher, to AI tools for international students, to a platform for small fashion brands.
A core community has formed. People support each other on small and big projects in our WhatsApp group. The first teams are building toward STAR*PARADE applications.
You can be part of the next wave.
