Pupil university on living in the future

Future housing concepts are the focus of the current online lecture at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg for young people in grades seven to 13 on Saturday, April 30, 2022, starting at 12:30 pm.

Climate change requires a new way of thinking about the shape of our cities, how we deal with water in the city, and the technology we need to do so. The speaker at the current Pupil University lecture is Prof. Dr.-Ing. Matthias Koziol from theDepartment of Urban Engineering at the BTU's Institute of Urban Planning. During his presentation, he will show examples of innovative forms of housing and buildings and discuss them with the participants.

To the pupil university of the BTU Cottbus SenftenbergThe pupil university offers interested pupils of the seventh to 13. classes the possibility of understanding scientific and technical topics and of awakening the desire for discovering and researching. This gives them the opportunity to develop their own skills and expand their talents. Together with the Sparkasse Niederlausitz, the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg is coming up with a new attractive program in which interested students can also work on various projects in small teams and consolidate their knowledge on excursions.
