BTU student Julien Thinius is "Apprentice of the Month" in the South Brandenburg skilled crafts sector

The 22-year-old is in his 4th semester of dual studies in civil engineering at the BTU and is learning the trade of a bricklayer at the same time. The perfect path for him. He performs well in his studies and training

The Cottbus Chamber of Skilled Crafts awarded the aspiring bricklayer for his commitment and good performance during his training at Kramer Bauunternehmung GmbH in Naundorf.

"I like the combination of theory and practice, i.e. that I can already gain work experience during my studies. Afterwards I have two degrees. A big advantage is that you already earn money on the side to finance your studies."

Applications for dual studies are still possible until 26 September. There are still places available for the coming winter semester. Information on the application process.
