Intralogistics for business: innovative technologies and trends

The Center Efficient Factory of the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) will show on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Senftenberg how digitalization can also be realized in small and medium-sized enterprises.

Intralogistics encompasses all material and goods flows within a company. There is often considerable potential for optimization in this area. If you want to be competitive in the long term, you have to make your logistics processes more efficient. But what solutions are there for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)? What makes sense and how do you get started?

Under the title "Intralogistics today - current trends and innovative technologies", participants will learn more about intelligent transport solutions, ergonomic load handling, smart solutions for order picking and material replenishment, and localization options in expert presentations, field reports and live demonstrations. Concrete technologies and new developments in the industry, as well as examples of the implementation of these technologies in small and medium-sized enterprises, will provide insights into innovative factory operations at this event led by the BTU's Department of Factory Planning and Operations. Interest in this topic is extremely high. With 80 participants from companies - mainly from Saxony and Brandenburg as well as from some other German states - the event is fully booked. The next event will probably take place in September of this year.
