First digital TestDaF at BTU with 21 participants

On June 13, 2023, a digital test for German as a foreign language (TestDAF) was held for the first time at the Brandenburg University of Technology.

This means that in addition to the German Language Test for University Admission (DSH) , which has been offered at BTU for many years, there is now another opportunity to take a certified test to prove German language skills.

As part of the joint project Profis D - Fach.Deutsch.Digital für Studium und Beruf of the BTU Language Center with the Gesellschaft für akademische Studienvorbereitung und Testentwicklung e. V. (g.a.s.t.), funded by the Foundation for Innovation in Higher Education, the central facility was licensed as a TestDaF center as early as September 2022.

At the premiere, 21 participants were tested in the eAssessment Center of the IKMZ in the skills reading, listening, writing and speaking. The participants had registered in one of the intensive programs Springboard University German with TestDaF or "Fit for the Campusor individually prepared for the exam.

The next opportunity to take the Digital TestDaF is on September 12, 2023. The results will be announced from 10.10. and thus a language certificate can still be submitted in time until 30.10.2023 for enrolment.
