The Lusatia Science Network grows

The Alliance of Researching and Funding Institutions in Cottbus/Senftenberg welcomes the Federal Office for Radiation Protection (BfS) with the Competence Center Electromagnetic Fields as a new member. Thus, the network grows to eleven members already in the first year of its existence and reflects the dynamics of the science and innovation location.

In Lusatia, new impulses for the region and beyond are created through the close cooperation of the scientific and funding institutions. In the coming years, the network will continuously contribute to turning the structural strengthening support into a sustainable innovation system in South Brandenburg. Together, the institutions are working on the promotion of young researchers, the development of cooperative research projects and the visibility of the region.

Already today, numerous members cooperate in joint research and innovation projects. In this way, the Lusatia Science Network also supports the development of the Lusatia Science Park with its strengths.

The members of the Lusatia Science Network are

  • Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg
  • Federal Institute for Research on Building, Urban Affairs and Spatial Development
