Artificial intelligence - curse or blessing?

The topic of artificial intelligence (AI) is gaining in importance due to increasing digitalization in all areas of life. The transfer project EDIH pro_digital at the Chair of Automation Technology at BTU, together with the partnersNET4AI - Network for Artificial Intelligence at the University of Technology Wildau and the European News School of Digital Studies at the Europa-Universitat Viadrina, is exploring questions about the extent to which artificial intelligence is already being incorporated into research and everyday applications,

We want to discuss in which direction AI will develop, which potentials but also risks this technology holds for humans. Where can AI be used sensibly, e.g. to relieve employees in the care sector? What regulations and what use is required in teaching and for pupils and students?

The guests will include scientists from the Europa Universitat Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) and the Wildau University of Technology.
Together with the audience, they will discuss current research, opportunities and challenges posed by the use of Artificial Intelligence in care, migration, jurisprudence, teaching and education.
