Study Info Day provides exciting insights into BTU
What study programmes does the university offer - and which one is right for me? What is it like to attend a lecture? What is there to discover on campus? The answers to these and many other questions will be provided by BTU lecturers, staff and students at the Study Info Day, which welcomes school pupils and, in particular, school leavers, but also parents, teachers and anyone else who would like to find out more about the university's modern degree programmes.
The varied programme with introductory and advisory offers includes basic information on studying, including the co-op programmes, as well as numerous course presentations. Visitors can also look forward to laboratory and library tours as well as exciting experiments - including hands-on activities. Registrations for the Study Info Day are not required.
The central point of contact on campus is the Central Lecture Hall Building. The event will kick off from 9 to 9:45 a.m. in Audimax 2 with a presentation entitled "Studying at BTU" with information on all of the university's Bachelor's study programmes, how to apply, study abroad and more. In the foyer, staff from the student guidance and counselling service, the co-op programme and other institutions will be available for individual discussions.
There will also be information on studying abroad, study programmes in the STEM fields will be presented under the heading "Maths, Physics and AI - made easy!" and there will be "hands-on science" with exhibits and information from the study and research areas. Studierendenwerk Ost:brandenburg will be providing information about student finance and student accommodation.
Student associations and initiatives will provide insights into active student life at BTU.
On Study Info Day, there will be an opportunity to take a look at the modern laboratories and research facilities on the university campus, which are usually only accessible to university members. Visitors can find out how studying and research works and experience the campus atmosphere. In addition to the study programmes at the BTU main campus, the study programmes at the Cottbus-Sachsendorf and Campus Senftenberg campuses will also be presented.
