Exhibition "Ingeniously creative"
In the second presentation of the "Ingeniously creative" series - opened for the Germany-wide Night of Libraries on 4 April this year - female library staff are not only the organisers, but also provide amazing insights into their own work and that of family members.
Library employee Romy Linge-Bielert is represented here with a large number of exhibits. The exhibition is also enriched by her children Hannah and Henrik as well as the children of Katja Richter, head of the local library, Lena and Tinka. Mum Siegrid Bielert shows works in knotting technique.
"Let's all embark on a creative journey with moments of genius," said Katja Richter at the opening of the exhibition, which Romy Linge-Bielert accompanied with a dance performance. In the meantime, not only many BTU members, but also interested parties from the region have accepted the invitation to the Senftenberg site library of the BTU, which is valid until the end of September. There is still an opportunity to do so until the end of September.
The "Genial Kreativ" exhibition can be viewed in the library's media centre during the lecture-free period at the BTU Senftenberg site on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 3 pm, Wednesdays from 1 pm to 6 pm and Fridays from 9 am to 2 pm. Access is via the main entrance to the library from Großenhainer Straße, registration is not required and admission is free.
