About 5000 students study at the Academy of Gorzów, which comprises 4 faculties, including "Wydział Ekonomiczny", "Wydział Techniczny" and "Wydział Humanistyczny". There is an intensive cooperation especially with the "Wydział Humanistyczny" with its study programs in Polish, German, care, education and social work/pedagogy.

Gorzów UAS comprises three campuses: the main campus in Teatralna Street, a campus in Chopina Street and a campus in Lokietka Street. The centrally located dormitory has a high capacity (400 beds); a place costs about 200 zl per month. The dormitory has an inexpensive cafeteria and an Internet cafe.

Students in Gorzow have many opportunities for leisure activities: For example, the municipal theater, several cinemas, the Slowianka adventure pool, an ice rink and many student pubs invite you to evening activities.
