Find out about our projects at trade fairs

The BTU presents research results and new projects at numerous national and international leading and trade fairs. We explain and demonstrate our successes, show you the added value and thus also gain further cooperation partners. Get to know us on site, come into conversation with us.

We are represented with two stands at this year's ILA. On the one hand, we will be showing what research is being carried out at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg in the field of aviation, and on the other, CHESCO GmbH will be presenting its range of agile manufacturing and digital technologies.

ILA Berlin, a leader in the fields of innovation, new technology and sustainability, brings global aerospace to the heart of Europe every two years. Here, visitors can see and experience how the transformation of civil aviation to climate neutrality will succeed.

BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg is represented with a stand in the Aviation section and presents the research of the Institute of Transport Technology. The chairs of this institute contribute their research to the Center for Hybrid Electric Systems Cottbus (chesco). As part of the key research area of hybrid-electric technologies, a new master's degree program will be introduced at BTU this year. At our ILA stand, you can find out more about this study program and all the activities of the chesco. The first components from the chesco research factory will be presented and the latest projects introduced. You will find us from June 5 to 9 in Hall 4 at Stand 320.

CHESCO GmbH will also have a stand on the trade visitor days from June 5 to 7 and present the current offers in the field of agile manufacturing methods and digital technologies for future project partners. You will find this stand in the Supplier Center.

• On Wednesday, June 5, 2024, the region's projects in the field of aviation research will be presented under the title "Initiative Luftfahrt Ost", 5 p.m. ILA Stage Future Lab | Hall 2
• On Thursday, June 6, 20 24, the Center for Hybrid Electric Systems will present itself at the 12:30 p.m. joint stand of the Berlin-Brandenburg capital region | Hall 4
• On Friday, June 7, 2024, representatives of chesco will present the hybrid-electric capabilities in Cottbus, 11 a.m. BDLI e. V. stand | Hall 2
