BTU at the AERO Friedrichshafen 2026
AERO Friedrichshafen 2026 will take place from April 22-25 and will bring together the diversity of the general aviation industry in twelve exhibition halls.
AERO Friedrichshafen, one of the world's most important trade fairs for general aviation, will once again take place at Lake Constance. The event is regarded as the central platform for innovations in aircraft, aviation technologies and services in the industry.
More than 700 exhibitors from around 38 countries will be presenting their latest developments at the exhibition centre right next to Friedrichshafen Airport. Over 35,000 visitors from more than 80 nations are expected to attend, many of whom hold a pilot's licence themselves. The trade fair thus offers a unique environment for dialogue, business contacts and technological insights into the future of aviation.
The AERO can look back on more than 45 years of history. What once began as a manageable air sports exhibition with gliders has developed into one of the most important international industry gatherings. In addition to aircraft of various classes, the focus today is also on avionics, maintenance, business aviation and aviation services.
Taking part for the first time: SpreeTec neXt
The SpreeTec neXt project team will be presenting exhibits and results from metal and plastic-based manufacturing processes for the aviation industry at the joint stand of the Berlin-Brandenburg capital region in Hall A5, Stand 301.
BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg is looking forward to professional dialogue and stimulating discussions at AERO Friedrichshafen.
The trade fair is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm. The stands close at 4 pm on the last day of the fair.
