As a Dual Career Service, we would like to make it easier for newly appointed people at the BTU to get started in their new environment and give them the opportunity to network with other professors*. For this reason, we have launched the "Welcome Mentors" project.
From professors for professors
As part of this "welcome mentors" project, experienced BTU professors accompany newly appointed students during their first year at BTU and are available to them as contact persons. The welcome mentors help the new professors find their way in their new environment and give them valuable tips and advice. We, the Dual Career Service, organize the placement of the sponsor pairs as well as the first meeting. Afterwards, both persons decide together how and to what extent further exchange should take place.
