You have received a call to a professorship or junior professorship at the BTU: We wish you and us successful contract negotiations!

During the negotiations, you will also have the opportunity to present your wishes regarding the equipment of the (junior) professorship and to discuss the structure of your employment relationship. You are welcome to use the documents provided to prepare yourself.

In questions of equipment as well as the teaching and research concept, please also consult with the dean of the respective faculty before the actual negotiation.

Appointment and recruitment

We are pleased that you have decided to accept the call to a professorship or junior professorship at our university.

The appointment or recruitment will take place at the Ministry of Science, Research and Culture of the State of Brandenburg in Potsdam. From there, you will also receive the invitation to hand over the appointment certificate (civil service) or to sign the employment contract (employment).  At the moment the appointment documents are currently sent by mail; the appointment at the Ministry is not necessary. In preparation for the appointment/employment, please submit the following documents in addition to the call acceptance in a timely manner (usually no later than 10 days in advance):
