Curriculum Vitae

Prof. Dr Peter Langendörfer is a full professor at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU-CS). He has held the Chair of Wireless Systems at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg since 2020. His work has been honoured with several awards, including the "IEEE Outstanding Paper Award for the IEEE Open Journal of the Industrial Electronics Society" in 2024. He is co-editor of IEEE Access, Peer-to-Peer Networking and has served as guest editor for many prestigious journals, including Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing (Wiley) and ACM Transactions on Internet Technology. He is/was coordinator of many EU and nationally funded research projects. Peter is very interested in the security of resource-constrained devices, low-power protocols, efficient implementation of AI techniques and resilience.
