CSD Campaign Weeks

The traditional opening of the CSD Campaign Weeks for Cottbus and Niederlausitz took place at the central campus of BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. On May 13th 2019, the rainbow flag was hoisted by Prof. Dr. Matthias Koziol and the president of CSD Cottbus e.V.. This was BTU's kick-off for the campaign week.

Invitation to the Exhibition Opening: “Here it takes courage!”- Lesbian, gay and trans* in Brandenburg, past and present.

A travelling exhibition by the Institute of Social Work at BTU, the association Lola für Demokratie in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and the Amadeu Antonio Foundation. The exhibition invites visitors to engage with the daily lives of LGBT* people in Brandenburg today, and experience their emancipation, their courage, their struggles, and their strategies for survival.

International conference: Empowerment in Times of Forced Migration

15. and 16. November 2018 - The conference aims to inspire the link between international social sciences and regional social work. It shall encourage a discussion about thetheoretical and practical application of empowerment – not least as an approach to address social inequality in relation to forced migration.

Travelling exhibition: Fremde im Land Brandenburg? Integration gestern und heute

Original Titel "Fremde im Land Brandenburg? Integration gestern und heute". Under the auspices of Prime Minister Dietmar Woidke and supported by the Federal Center for Civic Education, the Europe Union Brandenburg shows this travelling exhibit from May 12th 2018 until mid-February 2019 in the federal state Brandenburg. It shows: Migration is no new topic in Brandenburg .
