«Synthesis of novel 2D architectures by atomic layer deposition»
Brief description:
The current research project consists of elucidating the origin and consequences of the interaction between ALD functional metal-oxides deposits, dielectric substrates and 2D materials, tailoring ALD ultra-thin films, and developing novel 2D-based architectures for microelectronic applications. The primary focus will be on ceria ultrathin films deposited on widely used substrates in the semiconductor industry, such as Al2O3 or SiO2, combined with well-known 2D materials like graphene and MoS2.
