Open BTU: Technology and innovation for shaping a good future
Technology and innovation for shaping a good future
Technological progress is of central importance for the transition to a sustainable and climate-friendly future. Careful technology assessment is required in advance to ensure that it has the desired and, if possible, no negative consequences. In order to enable sustainable technology design in the area of regional transformation such as Lusatia, it is necessary to focus closely on the needs and demand of a region. To this end, technology assessment must provide future knowledge and orientation for decisions, for example through social and political counselling.
Speakers: Prof. Dr Armin Grunwald, Head of the Office of Technology Assessment at the German Bundestag and Head of the Institute for Technology Assessment and Systems Analysis at KIT, among others
Moderation: Prof. Dr. Roh Pin Lee, BTU, Chair of Decarbonisation and Transformation of Industry (DTI)
Venue
BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, Audimax 1 (Konrad-Wachsmann-Allee 3, 03046 Cottbus)
