New workshop series: Space for diversity

People encounter discrimination in many forms - consciously or unconsciously, in everyday life, in institutions or in their own thought patterns. The two-part event series "Space for Diversity" and "Safer Spaces" will create places for sensitisation and empowerment. Start is Friday, 14 November 2025.

Experiences of discrimination can be deeply hurtful, exhausting and isolating. In order to counteract this, we need to sensitise the people who may be the source of discrimination. In addition, there is often a lack of protected spaces in which those affected can share their experiences and experience understanding and solidarity. The new two-part workshop series "Space for Diversity" and "Safer Spaces" creates an opportunity to deal with existing thought patterns, depending on one's own social position. For people who are not affected by discrimination, there is space to engage with discriminatory thought patterns. Those affected, on the other hand, can share their experiences in a safe space and experience solidarity.
