University Open Days with ‘BTU live’ on 20–21 October 2026 in Cottbus
Anyone for whom a university degree is a viable option is warmly invited to spend one or two days at ‘BTU live’.
The open days are aimed at pupils from Year 10 onwards who want to find out now about the opportunities that a university degree offers. The tailor-made programme at the BTU’s main campus in Cottbus is designed to make it easier to find the right study programme and to give participants a real taste of university life: whether through attending regular lectures or talking to current students about their studies and student life. Useful information on the range of degree programmes, funding options and scholarships, as well as the benefits of spending a semester abroad.
Online registration is open until Monday, 19 October 2026
The Bachelor’s degree programmes at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg will be presented in detail. The programme also includes regular lectures and seminars in various subjects such as Architecture, Energy Economics, Civil Engineering, Social Sciences, Physics and Mathematics. Anyone who enjoys solving puzzles will be right at home in the MINT Escape Room. Please note that places are limited, so it’s worth conducting registration in good time. Pupils will get a first-hand insight into what student life is really like during a Q&A session with current students.
