Ernst Bauer Poster Award for Björn Riedel
In his work, Björn investigated the growth behaviour of samarium oxide on a copper substrate (see abstract for details). This research is essential for understanding the stabilisation of catalytically active sites for carbon dioxide hydrogenation.
Earlier this year, Björn Riedel had already won the 2026 Physics Student Prize from the Berlin Physical Society (Physikalische Gesellschaft zu Berlin e.V.) as well as the prize for the best Master’s thesis from Faculty 1 at the BTU Cottbus–Senftenberg.
