Alkaline Polyol-Pulping (AlkaPolP™-Process)

A pulping process for lignocellulosis biomass was developed in cooperation with partners from the industry. The research focuses on detailled investigations and optimization of every single process step. Moreover, subsequent processes are considered in order to convert the product streams (sugars, cellulosis and lignine) into marketable products, e.g. biofuels of the 2th generation
