Due to the current corona crisis, there are no classroom courses for the modules Bioreaktionstechnik and Programmieren in MATLAB / Octave. The digitally prepared course content and all other information can be found on the moodle e-learning platform. The registration takes place after sending a request by mail to Norbert Heinzelmann (n.heinzelmann(at)b-tu.de).

The research activities of the Chair of Chemical Reaction Engineering focus on the investigation of the complex interactions of transport processes and chemical reactions for use in the design of chemical reactors and processes taking into account economical as well as ecological aspects.

In addition to experimental investigations of the complex phenomena in conunction with the development of appropriate laboratory reactors and plants the research is aimed at mathematical modelling, too, as mathematical modelling and simulation investigations nowadays prove to be essential in the design and operation of chemical reactors.
