Registration for Modules
At BTU, module registration takes place only in the Online Portal. The eLearning (Moodle) portal is an additional platform where students can join courses for their registered modules in order to access learning materials or participate actively.
Registration for Examinations (Online Portal)

Registering for a module in the Online Portal automatically includes its examination. Students must register for all module examinations within the official registration period.
There are two types of module examinations:
- MCA (Module Continuous Assessment)—assessments spread throughout the semester
MAP (Module Final Examination)—examination at the end of the semester
Registration Deadlines:
- Start of Registration: Beginning of the lecture period
- Modules with limited places (TB): Registration opens two weeks before lectures start
End of Registration: Three weeks after the start of the lecture period
Deregistration Deadlines:
- MCA: Until the end of the third week of the lecture period each semester
- MAP: Until one week before the examination period begins, when the exam is offered for the first time
You can find more information about registration for examination here.
Registration for Module Content (Moodle)

To access teaching materials and course content, you must also enroll in the respective module on Moodle.
- Search for the course by its module code under “All Courses” in Moodle.
- Some modules require a passkey for enrollment. This will be provided by the lecturer during class.
Important: Enrollment on Moodle does not count as registration for the exam. To participate in examinations, you must be officially registered for the module in the Online Portal.
