Doctoral students at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg have access to our worldwide network of partner universities for research stays. Further information as well as important tips and advice for planning your stay abroad can be obtained from our International Relations Office.

We offer research stays at the Universitat de Barcelona for doctoral students enrolled on the Environmental and Resource Management doctoral programme and for lecturers who are active in the study programme. Deepen your research in the professional framework of the doctoral programme Ecology, Environmental Sciences and Plant Physiology.

For doctoral students:

• Application deadlines are 1 February or 30 September - or by individual agreement
• Research stays of up to 12 months

Please also submit the following documents:

• Proof of English proficiency B1
• Research exposé with current status of the doctoral project and work plan for the period of stay (if applicable, which modules are to be taken?)
• Contact to supervisor at the University of Barcelona

• Stay of up to 10 days
• Proof of language skills English B2 required
• Registration of an intended mobility at least 6 weeks before the start of the trip
