Landscript

Mission Statement

"Landscript" is an English-language publication series on the aesthetics and design of the contemporary landscape, published by JOVIS in Berlin. Founded at the Chair of Landscape Architecture at ETH Zurich by Christophe Girot and Albert Kirchengast in 2011, it has been anchored at the Chair of Architectural Theory at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg since 2023 and has expanded its subject area to include Architecture and Urban Design. With its text anthologies, "Landscript" offers a forum for a critical theoretical debate on the design of our analog living environment, which is accompanied by a top-class editorial board from the fields of Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Visual Studies and Philosophy.
