The Sound of Europe: Orchestra Concert as part of EUNICE Weeks

Music is balm for the soul. Music lovers and interested people can experience this live on the 15 th of November and listen to the concert "The Sound of Europe" of the university orchestra Collegium musicum.

The students of instrumental and vocal pedagogy of the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg breathe music and present their musical skills in the context of the EUNICE WEEKS.

Anyone who wants to listen to them will have the opportunity to do so on Tuesday, November 15. The university orchestra Collegium musicum, conducted by Krzysztof Świtalski, will give a classical concert for EUNICE, the European University for Customised Education, in the concert hall at the Sachsendorf campus. Music will be played by composers from the partner countries of the European University Alliance, of which BTU is a member. The concert will be a mixture of the orchestra's complete musical works and individual scenes by the soloists.

In addition to its core of music students, the ensemble also has an influx of music-loving amateurs from the city of Cottbus and its surroundings. The young musicians are supported by professional instrumentalists  - on this evening, for example, by musicians from the Polish city of Zielona Góra. Admission is free. Among the guests will also be representatives of the partner universities.
