CAKE FOR EVERYONE! - Cake demo and the longest and most beautiful coffee table in Lusatia

The "Indivisible South Brandenburg" alliance is calling for a cake demo for diversity, solidarity and togetherness ahead of the local and European elections on June 9, 2024. A long coffee table will be set up in the heart of the city. Star-shaped demonstrations will be organized from all directions. Cake will be brought from everywhere. 16 institutions from Cottbus and other places in southern Brandenburg have already agreed to take part. The BTU is also taking part.

We want a Brandenburg in which everyone is worth the same. And we want a Brandenburg in which everyone is there for each other. Do you want that too? Then why don't you bake a cake and join us? We will meet on Sunday, June 2 at 3 p.m. in front of the town hall in Cottbus.

Of course you can also come without a cake. Bring your friends and family.

• If you are coming from Sandow, we will meet at the REWE at 1.30 pm.
• If you are coming from Schmellwitz, we will meet at Bonnaskenplatz at 2.00 pm.
• If you are coming from Sachsendorf, we will meet there at 1.30 pm in front of the Lutherkirche.

We stand up for a democratic, open and diverse society, for peace and freedom, diversity and human rights, the preservation of human dignity, economic security and social justice. Right-wing extremists attack all of this. As a self-confident society, we will not stand idly by. We are uniting against them across the entire democratic spectrum. Right before the European elections on June 9, 2024 and the local elections in nine federal states, we are taking to the streets against the far right.

We call on our fellow citizens to join us in sending a strong signal against racism and right-wing extremists.
