University of Zielona Góra and BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg reaffirm their long-standing cooperation

On 25 October 2024, BTU President Prof. Gesine Grande and the Rector of the University of Zielona Gora Prof. Wojciech Strzyzewski signed a new cooperation agreement.

Numerous projects and many years of experience form a solid foundation for the cooperation between the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg and the University of Zielona Gora. As equal partners, both universities now want to further expand and consolidate their exchange and joint activities in the areas of research and teaching.

The cooperation will focus on the following topics:

  • Promoting cooperation between departments and other units;
  • Organisation of joint courses;
  • Exchange of students and doctoral candidates for study, internship and research stays;
  • Exchange of academic staff to carry out joint research work and seminars and to present scientific work;
  • Organisation of and participation in joint academic and research activities, such as conferences, seminars and research programmes;
  • Exchange of information on joint scientific and didactic activities and joint publications;
  • Exchange of information, specialised literature and library material;
  • Organisation and implementation of joint projects;
  • Participation and cooperation in international programmes.
