Doctoral colloquium in winter semester 25/26

The chair cordially invites all doctoral students to participate in the upcoming doctoral colloquium. The event offers a forum for scientific exchange, discussion of methodological approaches and reflection on the current state of research of ongoing dissertations.

Date: Monday, 9 February 2026
Time: 10:00 to 17:00
Location: BTU Cottbus, LG 10, Room 211 a/b

A time slot of approx. 60 minutes is planned for each dissertation project, which is divided equally into a presentation and a plenary discussion. In terms of content, the contributions focus on the well-founded presentation of the research question, the current state of development, the empirical methodology and open problems. In the case of cumulative projects, the individual papers must be presented in a synthesised form. Compliance with current academic standards with regard to structure, argumentation and source work is assumed.

Interested doctoral candidates are requested to confirm their participation by email to Alexander Martin by 17 December 2025.
