From 6 to 11 July 2026, Sophia Bittner-Zähr attended two conferences in France. First, together with Marie Tallarek from the Department of Health Sciences, she presented her paper on emotion-related practices in emotionally demanding workplaces, such as clinical obstetrics, at the 15th International Conference on Emotions and Working Life (EMONET XV). The conference, hosted by IGR-IAE Rennes, was immediately followed by a Local Hub event as part of the EGOS conference. During this event, Sophia Bittner-Zähr presented the joint paper with Alexander Martin. The paper systematises collective emotions in an organisational context based on identity theory.

Special thanks go to the BTU’s Gender Equality Office and the DAAD for the financial support that made participation in the conferences possible.
